The Santanol Group is a world leader in the production and supply of pure, natural, ethical and sustainable Australian grown Santalum album (Indian sandalwood) oil and products.
Santanol uses sustainable management practices guided by a highly advanced scientific program to produce the highest quality products for its customers.
Santanol has been growing pure sandalwood in the Kimberley region of Western Australia since the plantation industry’s inception in the late 1990s transforming a desert area into a forest.
The Santanol difference:
- We own and manage the entire process from seed propagation to distillation and commercialisation of the oil worldwide.
- All our oil and wood products are traceable – all the way back to the seeds we plant.
- Our mixed age plantations – from recently planted to ready for harvest – ensure we have a continuous reliable supply of products, now and in the future.
Santanol has also successfully completed the certification in key areas Quality Assurance, Occupational Health Safety, and Environmental Protection and is now has been accredited for ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015.
These certifications can ensure that the policies, practices and procedures implemented by Santanol deliver the highest level of safety and reliability in its operations, care for the environment, and consistent standards in Santanol’s products and services provided to clients.
Santanol also runs a controlled global sourcing initiative to secure high quality sandalwood worldwide. The wood, carefully contracted with legally approved government certificate of origin, is then processed in our own facilities in Australia allowing Santanol to guarantee ethical, sustainable and reliable quality oil supply.
